 easy for the experts - sound on p.c i moved house a couple of months ago andwhen i re set up my p.c no sound :o its probibly as simple as one click on something any ideas? thanks in advance :P         |

| DD: Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, then to audio configuration (you should have something that'll obviously be the audio device). See if the device is switched to say, headphones instead of speakers; if that's not the problem go into advaced and see if it has a mixer section. Could be that the overall master is muted or faded to zero, or the CD or other device is faded to zero. |

| thanks quinny, it dosnt quite work in that order on my p.c [ME]ive now checked my speskers and they are working,the sound levels are o.k but still no sound,ill have another go tomorrow |
