help!!!

when ever I download a file from a website and save it to my computer, sometimes all of a sudden it stops half way or less saying it is complete. Is there a way to avoid things like this from happening? thanks. :D

I actually just experienced something similar myself and trust me, a cable connection (which I do have) has nothing to do with it. I think the problem rather lies in server overload/breakdown or something. Too many users downloading at once can cause stuff like that. Best solution is probably to try again until it works out - allthough it's a real bitch if you're on dial-up.
