Default CD burning - how many tracks?

Hi folks,
I am trying to put as much as possible tracks in a single CD. What is the maximum number of tracks I can burn in a CD? Every track is about 1 minute, so how many tracks? 20? 30? 40?
Thanks
Masdefi

The absolute limit is 99. However those would have to be 99 very short tracks, averaging 45 seconds...

Speaking of short tracks, I remember myself making a copy of the album "Mingus" by Joni Mitchell, with Easy CD Creator, and the program forbidding me to record one of the tracks because it was shorter than 10 seconds, if I remember well. That track was a dialogue snippet which lasted about 5 seconds.
So there's a minimum limit also...

I think the actual limit is 4 seconds per track, so that would explain it.

Thanks to everybody for your replies, I have tryed to burn a sample of about 10 seconds, it goes fine. I will keep in mind at max 99 samples within a CD.

Nano: did you enjoy that album? I played it a couple times and a couple of the tracks seemed really abrasive. But Cassandra Wilson did an electrifying version of "The Dry Cleaner from Des Moines" at the "Tribute to Joni Mitchell" concert that even had Mithcell herself bopping her head.

I consider it a Charlie Mingus album that Joni happens to sing as opposed to the other way around. :)
But yeah, Don Juan's Reckless Daughter was her last brilliant album until the 90s.
