Yes, there are copyright infringement issues, and the file will get pulled if someone complains. What would you need a scanner for? |

| Only video files can be uploaded. The uploads are done in MPEG, AVI or WMV video format. Some people decide to take a shot of their turntable playing the record, some other put a still picture but in all cases, the file is in video format. you need a video editing software to produce such a result. I think that piracy of audio/video material has reached an unprecedented level of anarchy. The authorities just can't catch up on the number of posts. As they pull one post out, another one is re-uploaded not long after. Youtube (amongst others video/audio hosting services) builds on that chaos right now. |

| Youtube will remove clips if the copyright owner complains. Since the sound quality of youtube is terrible (heavy data compression and always mono) perhaps some copyright owners don't bother. |

| It has to be a video file. Youtube will allow you to upload an audio file but you get the following message: Failed (invalid file format) What you describe can be produced in two ways: - on-the-fly using a camera and a still picture or - can be post-produced using a video editing software which allows to tag one ore more jpeg images for the duration of the video scene (similar to what can be done with a Powerpoint presentation).- Marcus Last edited by canadiantire; April 14th, 2008 at 12:14 PM. |

| Thanks to a video friend who talked me into buying a YOUTUBE Casio digital cameras, complete with USB attachment, Ive FINALLY MADE MY FIRST YOUTUBE MUSIC VIDEO POSTING! As you can see by the video, Im also a Superman fan, as well as disco, so I combined the two together. For the music song selection I used a recording of DAYLIGHT which was the instrumental version originally released by The New Ventures back in 1976, just before Vickie Sue Robinson decided to add her vocals to her own version. ENJOY! YouTube - Daylight
