Whats the best way to clean old vinyl records manufactured during the 80s- 2000?

Hi all,,
always use discwasher,,and if you can not get any..the next best thing to use is rubbing alcohol the clear kind, and no other, with a cotton ball.. as the record is spinning on the turntable just spray some alcohol on the record and use the cotton ball to clean the whole record you'll be amazed to see what it will take off your old stock.... clean with it..and you'll see and hear the differance..let the record spin dry on the table before before putting it in the sleeve...keep in mind, this dose not take scratches,or snap,crackle & pop away..but it will clean your NEW,and VINTAGE records well..hope this helps ya. go to TOWER RECORDS and pick up a DISCWASHER with the solution... use the brush to wipe off the after each use to keep the handy brush clean... I've been doing that way for years.
