Default How to configure Crossover for High Rays

I have a freind. He took a 12 inch record, laid it down on a peice of plywood and cut a circle that matched the size of a 12 inch record. Next he added 4 highray speakers (the real small ones) and mounted each one on the circle.

Each was mounted at 90 degree angles facing outward. Next he hung the two sets of them (8 in total) on chains from the celing of his sound studo. They only produced HIGHS but WOW what a difference.

I have a BOZAK mixer, (2) JBL Subwoofers, (2) altec Lansing Speakers and a NAD Power Amp.

My question is how did my freind in Europe add these HIRAYS. I know he used some kind of CROSSOVER box. Can anyone explain how to add these HIGHRAYS or perhaps provide a diagram.

Thanks
