I'm listening now and am most distressed with all the rappin' and use of the "n" word. :evil:

It's not all that way........but definitely a disappointment after the other tasteful stuff they've released. Lucky I found a promo and didn't pay full Japanese Import price (around $26!!!) :evil:

I wasn't aware of this new CD by BNHs (I'm glad if it's as bad as u say Marky) but strangely enough I bought a double CD only this week on Dejavu Retro records (?) called 'Anthology of The Brand New Heavies' featuring their very early stuff including earlier versions of 'Dream Come True' & 'Never Stop'. I really like it & the packaging is so O.T.T.- all gold & mock walnut vaneer! :o :D (& it was really cheap too but there's no catch this time). It really sounds like a classy 70s jazz-funk/disco act in places which is great for a UK group; much better than 'brit-funk' ever was IMO.
