Default Elton John's "ARE YOU READY FOR LOVE"

I'd like to ask the Brits out there....what version of this record was released in the UK in 2003 and became a hit? Was it the original (8:14) version with The Spinners on it? Or an edited verion of that? Or a remix of the vocal unto some modern beats?

Just curious. Never heard it on radio over here. Although I see it's on the Billboard Dance Charts--that must be a remix with some block-rockin' beats, I presume. :o

Default elton john

hello!

It is still a big hit here in Austria as well!
But just the Original version of that song!

The Ashley Beedle version is also really good, but just
the Original became a hit, here in Austria.

I don`t know exactly whether the Ashley Beedle version reached "hit status" in the UK. (????)

greetings
stephan

Thanks Stephan. I'm wondering how long the single version is. And, does it use the Spinners vocal part? On the original, Phillipe Wynne starts singing on the second verse and from there on it's a duet....for 8+ minutes on the original. AMG shows the single version but doesn't show timings. AMG shows the track on various compilations ranging from

Clubmix Summer:
21. Are You Ready for Love performed by Elton John - 4:28

Greatest Hits (UK Bonus CD):
45. Are You Ready for Love (Bell/Bell/Bell/Bell/James) - 3:30

Ministry of Sound: The Annual 2004:
12. Are You Ready for Love? performed by Elton John - 6:00

Default Ready For Love CD Single...

includes a '79 Radio Edit and '79 full length version that clocks in at 7:47. The MOS version is identified as the "Linus Loves Starlight Mix"

All this talk about poop reminds of an old movie I saw recently where one of the characters comments about her husband pooping in bed on their honeymoon.

Nice.

I consider it appropriate that i've hijacked an Elton John thread and turned it into shit. :)
