Default New Daft Punk Album?

I've just read the info on the net. Thomas Bangalter and Guy Manuel de Homen Christo would be back in studio to compose their third LP.

Does anybody have more details?

No more info of the new album. However I just found out that the father of Homem-Christo was involved with some 70's disco hits, like Cuba by Gibson bros. Small world :o

I saw yesterday a 2003 Daft Punk CD called "Daft Club". It has remixes of songs from earlier albums (one of them by Basement Jaxx). My guess is maybe you're talking about this one.
BTW, it was so long since the last time I entered a record store!

Hello Nano,

I'm aware of this "Daft Club" album as I've bought it the day it was issued. It's a pretty disappointing remix album, that doesn't bring a lot to "Discovery". In fact it really sounds like they issued it to feed the fans.

The same day has been issued the "Interstella 5555" DVD, which is in the contrary close to a masterpiece, and that everybody should see. ( Yes I'm a fan  ).

What I've read is that they were preparing a BRAND NEW album, which I expect for a while.

all the songs are extracted from the website they did during their second album... there are interseting songs like the romanthony cover of "one more time". but true, they issued it to feed the fans.
Like you?

Correction! Damn net

It's the father of Thomas Bangalter who was active at the 70's disco scene, named Daniel Vangarde! His name apperas in the 2001 Discovery album. Yep and Ottawan and Dalida as well amongst others. Read more...

tdaram, in fact two or three tracks are not extracted from the Daft Club website, and have not been edited before. But to be honest, I don't think it has fed the fan. None of the remixes are really great.

The Daft Club album is great.
I like almost all of the remixes on the album, a real masterpiece...
