Default Limp Bizkit - What's Up With This?

Here's a copy of an article from TV Guide online --- In The News:

PUNKS BEHAVING BADLY

Limp Bizkit angered Chicago concertgoers while performing at the "Summer Sanitarium Tour" on July 26 --- and now, they're suing! According to court papers obtained by TheSmokingGun.com, Fred Durst and his band performed for only 17 minutes. During that short time, they allegedly showed "obscene and profane messages to the crowd via four giant monitors", while Durst yelled "disgusting homophobic and anti-gay statements". The lawsuit seeks a $25.00 refund for each of the 172 ticket holders.

I thought Limp Bizkit was one of the rock world's current premier bands. A 17-minute :-? concert filled with hate and profanity? Is this their normal routine, a promotional stunt or was this incident out of character? I know less than nothing about this group.

I saw Limp Bizkit on the Family Values 1998 tour and they weren't like that at all. They put on a pretty decent show. There was no excuse for their behavior or short set at that concert on this year's Summer Sanitarium tour. I saw the Los Angeles show on the tour, but I missed Limp Bizkit since I couldn't get out of work, so I couldn't tell you how they were at that show. The only band I got to see was Metallica.

Fred Durst is desperate that his "15 minutes" is up.

He's recorded a cover of the Who's "Behind Blue Eyes" for the soundtrack of the new Halle Berry thriller "Gothika". Then he got Miss Halle in a lip-lock for the video. Then rumors started that they were an item and that's why she left Eric Benet.

I don't know the truth. But I've met Halle Berry and I believe she has better taste than Fred Durst.

Remember his "I think we're all in "agreeance" line at some awards show???? He BE DUM!!!!!
