Default Wynonna Judd - Disco Diva?

As much as I hate some of these drastic remixes (this started out as a country ballad), I just discovered this and kinda like it. Has anyone heard it in the clubs this summer?

I remember her Foreigner cover. I'll check out the remixes.

I've always been a fan of "country" Wynonna. She's just one of those people that I never expected a remix from. I'm glad it was a good one!

I like her blues song That Was Yesterday. I'm surprised more people don't cover it (Naomi Judd wrote it.)

I`ve always been a fan of her voice...what an amazing instrument.

My favorite Wynonna song is Testify to love (taken from an episode of Touched by an angel in which she also guest-starred).

it's funny people are talking about Judd, because I thought I was one of the few people who was aware of just how versatile a singer she is. Pegged "country" doesn't even begin to describe her talents. She blew me away with her performances at the "Tribute to Joni Mitchell" concert (I'm sure her "Raised on Robbery" and "You Turn Me On I'm a Radio" are on You Tube) and she was also stunning at the Burt Bacharach tribute concert. She needs to do something to break away from the country pack so she can shine brighter.

Yes, Wynonna has a lot of admirers from all genres. She (and Trisha Yearwood) especially transcend the country format. But I have to say I like her best when she sings like a sassy biker chick.

I absolutely loved her rendition of Elvis' Burning Love from the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack.

That was a great one. (And people have referred to her as the female Elvis.)

did you know that Trisha Yearwood did a song with R. Kelly? It's on the "Life" soundtrack. Despite what people say and think about Kelly, you have to admire his musical nerve, approaching artists like Yearwood and Celine Dion, artists I doubt most R & B writer/producers would think of. I often wonder if he got the idea from Babyface, who's worked with Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp and many others when he was "hot".

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check out the R.Kelly/Yearwood duet. She's one of my faves.
