Seriously though, I also don't understand why this song isn't charting, it's a great song, she's a great singer and the video is well made. Maybe she just isn't hip enough for today's kids- and dance music has been having a hard time charting on the UK charts lately...

Well for those of us fortunate to live in the UK and able to download the four remixes - they are certainly worth the money!!!! This track gets better and better with each remix. I'm just listening to the 7th Heaven Club Mix and it is brilliant! What a cool tune. What a breath of fresh air. What a sensation our Shena Winchester is!!! Go get these remixes (and the original) available now on download from the usual sources!

That's exactly why it's not charting - the public today generally don't recognise class when they hear it.

Almost three months after, where are we? Are the album or singles available anywhere?

There's a new single, called "My Fantasy" that will be released in the UK on July 29th. Go to youtube and catch the video - it's another Disco-theme - more so than "Can't Stop the Rain". The song is a little like "Boogie Wonderland" - very Emotions' sounding with horns and back-up vocals.

I do not know the status of a new CD - if the latest two songs are any indication of its content, it should be a winning sound.

As I mentioned in the Upcoming Events section, the guys at Medium Rare Music in San Francisco will be bringing Shena Winchester over for a meet and greet at our Remember the Party's Close Encounters Of The Disco Kind on October 11, 2009. They told us Shena's on a short tour of the West Coast of the United States to introduce her new album, "One Man Woman." Medium Rare is expecting to have the CD finally available for purchase here in the States. I'm hopeful this new promotional push in the U.S. will be the start of something big for Shena!
