Having been subjected to both of them countless times during my clubbing years, I can say I don't think I would be bothered if I never heard either of them again.

"Finally" at least is a proper song, and I'd probably still like it if I hadn't already heard it 500 times. "Show Me Love" supposedly once was, but the Marc Kinchen(sp?) version remix that made it a hit launched that horrible trend of tracks which were nothing but that bland mix of vocals, bass, and boring 909 sounds that all sounded like they'd been lifted from other tracks. UGH.

Couldn't agree more; both are very over-rated, epecially the Robin S track which I always hated.

I'd have to say "Finally" although it's been played to death.

I recently learned there was an earlier recording of "Show Me Love" that came out a few years before the '93 version. Has anyone heard this? I believe Robin S sang on that one too.

I heard it once. It was an actual song, not just vocal + bass + 909. It made me realize how disembodied the MK remix is.

"Finally" repeats the title refrain too many times for my taste. Peniston's done other songs that I thought were much better but didn't get as much attention, like "Inside That I Cried" and "I'm Not Over You". "Show Me Love" has silly and very awkward lyrics that sound like they were thrown together at the last minute.
