Hmm, somehow he's managed to make Shaft sound like a very mellow sex machine. However, I must thank him for bringing home to me just where Isaac Hayes got his inspiration for Disco Connection (listen to the bass line in Malik's Shaft). I may have sussed it BITD and forgotten it, but thanks Malik for bringing it to my attention.

I'll stick with the Eddie & the Soul Band or even (heaven forbid) Van Twist's versions.

I'm really not surprised that this one doesn't pass your test! Malik Adouane's music is aimed at Eastern markets, global clubs with class and people who are open-minded to new blends of music but...yes you ARE right, it probably won't work in the English pubs where you are playing!

In other words, if you don't like an artist, then stay out of the topic because people are getting really bored with your negative vibe and your criticism of artists and members !

If you don't like the majority of posts on this board then leave!

And don't start your smart games coz' I won't play 'em anymore! Got it!?!

This is a site that's celebrating the stars of Dance music, not bashing 'em! I hope I'm very clear here!
