What's That Version? Omd-Dreaming

Hi there!!! This is my first post and if someone could help me out with this, it would be greatly appreciated. I remember hearing a version of OMD's "Dreaming" on American Top 40 that was a lot plainer than the version heard on their greatest hits compilation and on the 45. I have both. The "bridge" could be easily understood on the plain version than on the official radio version. Am I the only one who noticed this? I know my 80's and love OMD!!!

Although I have a bit of Orchestra Manoeuvres In the Dark material, I could only find one version of Secrets and it does not say which mix it is, but it clocks in at 4:00. Sounds sort of plain sounding, but I have no other version to compare it with.
