Default Pet Shop Boys Go West

Did the Pet Shop Boys use the Village People to record the chorus on their verson of Go West or did they sample it from the original?

according to the musician's credits on the CD, the backing vocalists on that particular song include: Scott Altman, James Bassi, Dan Egan, Drew Martin and about 8 other singers' names I'm not familiar with. By the way, if you can find the original version of the PSB album "Very", the song "Go West" has an uncredited and unlisted track attached to the end of it. The Pet Shop Boys recently performed in San Francisco but I can't find anyone who went who'll tell me how the show was.....

The untitled bit at the end of Very is informally called "Postscript" and is (or should be) on all copies except for the vinyl, AFAIK.
