 The 5 Best Albums in 2005 1 - Antony & The Johnsons - I'm a Bird Now [SECRETLY CANADIAN] 2 - Gorillaz - Demon Days [CAPITOL] 3 - Sebastien Shuller - Happiness [CATALOGUE] 4 - Alice Russell - My Favorite Letters [TRU THOUGHTS] 5 - Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings - Naturally [DAPTONE RECORDS] 5 Great Albums released last year, only one has had success. Try to buy or listen to the 4 others: - "I'm a Bird Now" is an incredible masterpiece with the diva voice of the "android" Antony - "Happiness" is a great electro-pop album by french instrumentalist Sebastien Shuller. "Sleeping SOng" and "Weeping Willow" are 2 powerful pop anthems - "My Favorite Letters" is a pop and funky masterpiece. And what a voice - "Naturally" is THE soul album of the year. Everybody MUST listen to this one. "This Land is Your Land" has nothing to envy to any Fontella Bass, Lyn Collins or Aretha Franklin track. BUY THOSE RECORDS  |
