Hex Hector

A few years back practically every record that came out had a Hex Hector remix. Is he still doing remixes as I don't hear about him the way I did in the late 90's.

It seems that the heavy tribal pop sounds of Hex Hector have fallen out of favor, he is not doing as many remixes as he once did. Here's his website:

I've just noticed this post .The last Hex Hector mix i bought was in 2004,of all things it was a remix E.P of Angie Stone "Wish i did'nt miss you" one mix by him was in his usual style ,the other one called the vibes mix was like a Philly Disco mix .I think it's the best thing he's done it's far better than the Pound Boys mix which everybody played at the time.

I hadn't heard of any Hex Hector mixes for a long time but he currently has a great energetic mix of a release by someone else that I haven't heard from in awhile...Abigail!

The track is called Lay Down...an incredible original. Abigail's strong, throaty vocals have only improved with the years...highly recommended.
