Thanks, everybody. Don't run Bernie ragged and I won't feel so guilty about splitting.

And be warned --- I'm like 'Aaah-nold' or a bad penny. You can't get rid of me. :)

Hey Bernie,

"Legendary Disco DJ"? Only in my own feeble mind, bro, but thanks! :D

Forums don't need moderating.

Hey NickNack, sorry to see you stepdown from moderator, you made a great moderator with Bernie, at least you'll still be posting in the forums.

Just wondering though why did you step down from moderator? As Bernie didn't specify the reason why you resigned. If it's too personal then you don't have to answer. I can only guess you must have a lot of committments and the workload is getting too much.

Cheers
Troy

Hey there FunkyDude,

Good to see you again. No big secret why I stepped down. I told Bernie Bill and I were re-doing our pc's, upgrading from the bottom up. For me, that meant reinstalling everything from scratch. But, I had to wait until Bill added some new hardware. I couldn't backup and reinstall because I had a corrupted O/S (XP is such fun  ). Now that we're halfway through the process, I'm committing to some projects with my music. I've been really lazy and not doing anything with it and that is really bugging me. So, I asked to be 'relieved of duty' rather than go awol. :)

This site has been and still is great to and for me. I've met all of you and learned a hell of a lot. I thought I had a pretty good grasp on what music was out there, especially what I considered 'disco'. You guys have opened my eyes, ears and wallet :( to show me there is always something to learn. Plus, I've gotten to know Bernie and even though we haven't shaken hands yet I can see a long frienship in the making.

The best thing though is how this site has reconnected me with old friends, like Art, who joined the board after he found me here. Just two days ago, my old friend Diane, DJ from Asbury Park, NJ, found me also because of the interview I did for Bernie.

My best to all of you and don't worry, you'll be sick of me again, I'm sure. :D

Hi Nicky. Thanks for the explanation, know the feeling of being on overload.

Anyways I'll have to make more effort to post here again too. Though I not been posting here much these days I'm still collecting and listing to disco and funk music.

Cheers
Troy

Well put Nicky. I feel exactly the same way.
Gee Funky, Troy that is, all you did was ask Nicky and that ended speculation. Sometimes I forget that in life all you have to do is ask sometimes :)
That gives me an idea

When you do, tell him Nicky wants to know how Pete Shelley is doing.
