| Thanks to everyone for adding records to the Disco Records Vault A-Z database. Records are being added on a daily basis, which is great. Here's a listing of the last few hundred records added in case you haven't seen them yet. If you would like to add a review, add or correct info, please use the Comments form at the bottom of each record page. Almost every record has complete release data and cover art and/or label scans. A handful don't so feel free to send those in. Here's the list...

Here's how anyone can submit photos of artists or label scans... Fill in the details of your records on the submission page and leave the URL field blank. Click "Submit" then go to the Upload page and send a photo/scan jpeg of each record.

| What are the ideal file sizes/image dimensions for these? |

Record covers and labels should ideally be scanned at 300 dpi and sized at no less than 300 pixels wide X 300 pixels high for best results. Scans of photographs of artists and people can be any dimmension and scanned at 72-300 dpi. (Max file size is 2000 k) I just corrected a problem with the earlier form and have supplied a new URL. It is... http://www.discomusic.com/uploads/uploads.php If anyone encounters a problem please let me know.

If there are records in the Disco Records Vault with no images whatsoever then those I probably need as they were submitted by others wtout cover art.

| Oh, I spoke to soon... There are two entries for Magnifique. The one I put in is the one I have the cover art to. It's the other one at http://www.discomusic.com/records-more/1910_0_2_0_C/ that has no cover art. If you have the cover for the Siamese pressing then I'll gladly take that. Thanks again.

| I don't own the Siamese one (as it's crap quality lol) and that one didn't have a picture cover. Was just a generic sleave. Most releases on Siamese were pretty much like bootleggs non the less. The only Siamese I own is Amanda Lear "Follow Me" as it was the only copy I ever came across. If you know of the original copy's label for the 12'' please let me know as i'd like to track a quality one down.

| I don't know whether it's just me, but something seems to have gone awry with the page display when I look at any of the entries in the vault. The actual content, from the title of the record and the scans downwards, appears below the bottom of all the side menus, etc. meaning that I have to scroll down a long way to see them! It used to work fine. |

| Darren, Thanks for the heads up on the display problem. Don't notice it here at all, but I'll take a look at that and see if I can replicate it. Please tell me what browser, operating system and screen resolution you are using so I can narrow it down.

| Okay, found and corrected (fingers crossed) the display problem. Let me know if any oddities persist. I apologize for any inconveniences you encountered. Thanks again for notifying me.

| Hi Bernie, All works fine for me now! :D I use Internet Explorer 6.0 and Windows 2000 which is a fairly standard combination, hence why I didn't think to mention the setup I use! Being a web developer myself, I knew you'd like to know if something wasn't working properly! |

| Sorry - may I also suggest a possible future enhancement to the menus in the vault? When you get an artist with more than one entry, you get multiple links for that artist appearing on the left hand side. Maybe you could devise a system where each artist only appears once in parentheses on the left, and clicking on the link opens up another page with a summary of the entries for that artist? Obviously the setup is a victim of its own success. I still have loads to add to the vault when I get a chance! Darren |
