Disco Vault Problem

Bernie, a few people are having problems opening anything in the Vault since you updated the site .. See the 'were the charts fixed' for others

Hmmm... Could it be that, as a MAC user, I'm finally having a moment of power???

I'm having no problems accessing anything on the site.

Although, a few weeks ago (the day I submitted the "Bap Bap" scans, and noticed the return of all the vyniljunkie links) I was having trouble reading page text. It appeared that it was all "white". And could only be seen when I highlighted the entire page. Or put my cursor over my Internet toolbar.

But that was only for a day, or two.

Thanks and sorry for the problems accessing the pages. Marky is also experiencing problems, but everyone still hasn't answered the most important questions: What OS and version and what browser and version are you using? That would help a lot in tracking down issues.

Until I can get a handle on the problem, is it possible for some of you to use Firefox or Safari to view the site? I know it's asking for a lot, but these type of things take a lot, and I mean a lot, of work to correct so please bare with me. Thanks.

Bernie tried the main page and the only link that works is records for me other than the forum link and the second link (Vinyl Disco Record A-Z database) in your post below also opened. Still cant' sign in from the front page or use the contact us hotkey.

But I still can't open Dayna's interview with Tom Moutlton. Those are the only 2 things I tested.

I use a DELL PC at work.
Here I access the site with Windows Internet Explorer 7.
I've never had any problems.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Only the main page and the Records section has been redone. The interviews and elsewhere will get their work done during the week.

In almost every case, the members having the problems are those using way outdated software like Windows 2000 and/or those running IE6. To make matters worse, IE6 was never standards compliant, which meant it reacted in unexpected ways from site to site. That's why everyone ditched it. Don't mean to tell everyone what software to surf with, but you really need to update to at least IE7 or better yet Firefox or Safari to view sites the way they were intended. It's simply impossible to make things work for an outdated browser that never worked right back in the day. I'll keep seeing what I can do, but I think this will be it.
