| Hi, first of all, I apologise if this subject has already been discussed. I'm not an expert in computers & internet but I when I go to disco music I always have a kind of spamming. A small window appears ("windows installer") and asks me to install "Microsoft Office Premium", severall times. IE can even bug when this takes place. When I've passed those screens I can then connect to disco music. thx in advance for your help Alex |

| Monsieur Kaplan, Alex, NO! This is not normal. Discomusic.com has advertisements but will NEVER ask you to install a software program! So be very careful not to click on those screens. I think that you have some spyware or a trojan on your PC. I advice you to install this free and very reliable spywaretracer (I've searched for the link in French). Accueil de Spybot-S&D! Let it search your PC and after you've done that, please check if that window still appears. If so, try to give us the URL of that pop-up screen, so we can have a look at it! Good luck! |

| Thanks Johan for replying to Kaplan's post. What Johan (Videoskooter) posted in his reply is the best course of action. Never click on anything that pops up. I always get similar things when I go into MySpace and a few other sites and I'm on a Mac! Apparently in addition to it being a virus or trojan it can also be some kind of javascript device that piggybacks or uses certain legitimate codes in many sites so again, never click on anything that asks you to install no matter how innocent.

| 1. It sometimes takes a minute or so to load the site, that's pretty normal, don't worry about it. Depends on the connection and the status of the servers. 2.YouTube can be slow, their servers can be too busy or perhaps your PC hasn't enough space to load all the bytes. Do empty your cache regularly when you watch many vids in a row. 3. Can you be more specific about that Spam? What kind? Pop-up? An invitation to install a .exe file? Advertisement that won't go away? I repeat: Discomusic.com NEVER proposes or asks you to install something whatsoever!!!! Don't click on such a screen when it appears!!!!! And please do report to us everything that seems abnormal! |
