I'm sorta intimidated by all this technology!!!!

I feel like I've gone from a mom & pop store to sleek corporate headquarters...don't know where anything is!!!

I'm missing the red demarcation of NEW posts. I can't see how you tell at a glance if there are any new posts. Nothing lights up or is checked on my forum page. I also liked those "fire" icons to indicate a "hot" topic.

I do like this new "preview" of a post...hope it means that I can edit my typos before I post it. I guess I'll be testing that one soon.

I think the red should be visible now. It showed up for me AFTER you posted your reply to my original post.

Yep, sure enough, now it's there--BUT it wasn't before (did we have to pop it's cherry???)...BUT I would like it REDDER...it's like tangerine on mine!!!!

Now what are "hidden" viewers as opposed to members and guests???? Is BIG Brother watching us??? :o

So I guess you can post now without registering...that could be a good thing...or ...hmmmm,.... well I'll reserve judgement on that til later.

Geez, it's so organized by topic and era and .....oh, I'll get used to it, I guess. I BE SLOW. :P

Hi Jeff,

"Sticky" refers to the moderator's ability to mark important or timeless posts so that they don't drift all the way to the bottom of the heap as time goes by. We'll see how well it works in the real world.

Hi Marky,

Yeah, I also agree that the red is not prominent enough. I'll try and make them a deeper red. Then again you can also click on "View posts since last visit" at the top right of the forum index page.

"Hidden" simply means "You" can hide your identity while browsing the forum, but who wants that?

I really like the "Show all posts since your last visit" part, as well as not having to type in my password with each post. This rules, especially now that there are so many forums. :D

Will HTML ever be allowed, even on a per-member basis? (seems possible with the new set up...) no matter I guess, BBCode lets me do most of the tricks that I want...

Nope, you are not dreaming. I've consolidated some forums. Will be tweaking the forum for a few weeks more. Thanks for the kind words.
