New: Now Playing Feature

I'd thought it would be cool to let everyone post the songs they are listening to as they surf the forums.

Now when you type a post or reply you can tell the world what song you are listening to as you type your message. You'll notice a text field above the main posting window that says: "Now Playing" or "Song I'm Now Playing." Simply put in the artist and song title and it will show up in your post!

Hope everyone likes it and more importantly, uses it. If you think it's dumb then let me know.

I think this is a cool feature too. I noticed it just last night but being as I recently started coming back here after the site make-over, I thought it was one of the new features that I simply overlooked. I for one say keep it. It adds to the atmosphere and it's also cool to see what kind of vibe the other members were in at the time while you read a certain post. Will most definately use it.

I think it's a great idea also.......but it doesn't seem to be working for me in the other threads I've posted in today:-?

LOL --- I tried to edit the "Now Playing" since I screwed it up and hit enter. It's not "You Got" it's "You Got To Be The One" by The Chi-Lites. I'm one of those 'mellow moods.

Not sure if you can edit the Now Playing field once it's posted.

As for the signature, it's enabled for everyone, but one must type at least one hundred words in a post for it to appear.

Sure does Johan... You just need to type at least one hundred words in a post for it to appear. You only typed ten words above. You can do better than that :D

The Now Playing feature is gone. Needed to troubleshoot an issue arising from it, but since no one is really using it felt it wasn't worth the effort. Thanks to those who did give it a shot.

yea, I agree. I liked using it and I also looked to see how many others were using the feature...Not many:-x
