blacklisted submission?

What exactly does it mean when your submission is blacklisted? I have submitted vinyl listing a few time in the past and never had this happen to me.

This is news to me as no one is blacklisted. Could you please be specific?

Yeah - I tried again and got the same response. I was trying to add a John Forde 12" and when I go to submit the listing I get a page that says "Attention!
Your Submission Was Blacklisted. Contact the Administrator."

Was wondering what that means?

Okay, I understand. It should not say blacklisted as you are certainly not. Essentially, you are not permitted to edit your listing in the for sale category-you can only add to it by adding another post/reply. For some strange reason it is showing as blacklisted??? Rest assured you are not blacklisted. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

so is the record I submitted going to be added disco A-Z list? As I was trying to add something you don't have a submission for yet?

Should I try to submit a different record and see if I get the same response, cause I would like to be able to include some of the stuff I find that you don't have on the site yet.

Nicole, just a few questions, maybe obvious ones, but they are important:

-do you use your correct password? It normally is a different one than the one
you use to log in on the board?

-do you wait too long before submitting? The security can log you out.

-can you take a printscreen and show it or mail it? That's usually very helpful for Bernie.

Nicole sorry for any confusion, but it is now clear to me what you were trying to do. As Videoskooter just mentioned, the site is comprised of two sections and each requires its own registration and log-in.

I thought you were trying to edit your post in the For Sale section of the forum. I had no idea you were trying to submit records to the A-Z Vault, which is the other section of the site. The log-in from the forum will not work on that part of the site. You were getting the error because you weren't registered to post in that section.

I know it is confusing, but you need to register a second time at
http://www.discomusic.com/members/register.php
You can choose to use the same username and password as the forum to keep things simple. Thanks and I look forward to adding your records to the A-Z discography.
