I remember the first time I heard this record...it blew me away.It sounded so new... different...It was a huge hit here in the tri-state area.Also I remember "Our Day Will Come"
it would be nice to see the long version of "Swearin to God" on cd...

A few weeks ago, I was at a Mac's convenience store (big chain up here) and "Swearin' To God" came on.. It was great to hear it as it was a long night and a fairly long line too, so I just kinda grooved to the music while waiting :)
It had been a while since I'd heard it.. Great song!

Totally agree discodisco & neonlights... :D Those two records did have a unique sound to them particularly "Swearin' To God". It invokes images from one of my favorite early disco years 1975! I remember when they Casey Kasem would introduce "Swearin' To God" on his weekly top 40 show...He'd say: "This next record has a moon, June, croon feel to it..." :lol: I guess he was right...As it really does have quite a nostalgic feel to it... Thanks for remembering these two gems!
