    Ish's new CD -- Ish-ology

I saw this CD at the store last night, but was reticent on shelling out $15 for something that might (somewhat) stink.

It's a 2-CD set. CD 1 features radio versions of Ish's biggest 70's and 80's hits (Foxy, Blue Moderne, Promise Circle, Company B, etc.).

CD 2 has about 18 (new?) and original Ish performances including several in Spanish.

There are no reviews yet on Amazon.

Does anyone have this or know anything about it?

Hi Eurodancemix. That CD is news to me!

I like everything I have heard that Ish Ledesma was involved with, and one of his solo albums I have.

I like the Oxo album too, especially "Whirly Girl" and "Dance All Night."

Do you know if it is true that he was inspired to break up Foxy after walking by a schoolyard and hearing kids sing lyrics to "Get Off"?

    1) There are a couple of Oxo songs on the CD.

    2) I doubt that...otherwise he wouldn't have written Fascinated with lyrics such as "I'm fascinated with your love, boy; I'm fascinated with your love toy". Face it...we know EXACTLY what she's referring to! :o

Thanks Eurodancemix! By the way those 2 Oxo songs had cool music videos, too. The Whirly Girl's skirt was pretty short.

Oh I did not know Ish wrote that Company B song.

When I was more regularly involved in a local college radio station, they were going through the new added records in the mid 80s. One was bit Ish but I don't think the music director knew anything about him, and likely no one else there either. The reviewer just talked about the music, then I added "he was in the bands Foxy and Oxo, if that means anything to you." Someone replied sarcastically, "It means a lot to us, Bob."
    :-?
