I know that Bernie has the Disconet remix of Abba's "Lay all your love on me":

I know that he warns of bootlegs. Now my question: I have the version by The Bank. Is this the same remix? The sleeve mentions: Legal Bootleg. Are the vocals by Abba? Does anyone have the 2 versions (Abba/The Bank). Are they the same stuff?

Why? Last days I'm going beserk over this record, specially the drumbreaks :D
Why? In 10 days the city of Turnhout:Belgium will have its anually funfair and I remember oh so well that in 1980 we were playing this record there over & over again to great delight of our customers...who went beserk over this version. And that's exactly 25 years ago.

Hi Videoskooter. The Disconet remix is by Raul and appeared on a Disconet CD called Dance Classics no.3.
It did appear on a dodgy 'Trax' 12" bootleg in the UK but the quality was really bad.

Ben Liebrand did a remix of it and it was a tad similar to the Disconet version but repeated a drum stab much more. This, I gather, was made for his radio show.

I don't remember any connection with 'The bank' though.

Try 'Record Collecter' to see if you can buy a legit copy in the ads at the back. That's where I got my CCd only for £12.99!!!

Thx for the info Davicillo. I seriously don't know who's behind The Bank but since the legal Abba-remix was almost unavailable BITD, everybody was playing their version.
