John Luongo, Steve Thompson & Michael Barbiero, and Jellybean are my favorites, if we don't count Tom Moulton as a "remixer" since he did the original "mix".
This is a two part question.
Which remixer do you enjoy the most?
I always enjoyed Jellybean Benitez's mixes. He gave the song added punch but kept the original flavor of the song.
The second question is for the dj's on the board.
Did you ever have a song that you hated the original 12" mix and refused to play but would play the remix service version?

Hello nrgbeat, As a DJ I dealt with many remix services. Songs that I PREFERED the 'remix service' 1). Disconet version of the Jacksons-'Can You Feel it'. 2). Primecuts version of Billy Idol's-'Mony Mony'. 3). Hot Tracks version of Frankie Goes To Hollywood-'Two Tribes. 4). Hot Tracks version of Company B's-'Facinated. Remixes are all amatter of 'taste'. Some DJ's or crowds might prefer the 'Record Label's' mix v.s. the 'Remix Service' mix.On 2002-07-07 21:13, nrgbeat wrote:
