I know most of you will have this but I missed it first time round. I never managed to get 'Satellites' by Ellie Warren.
There are also quite a few Hot tracks mixes I am missing!
Those have now passed into the anals of time now me thinks.
I've spoken about mine, several times.
DJ only issue of Pop Muzik & Funky Town mix up. Played back in the mid 80's and for some reason I never even botherd to check out the label, so can't even begin to guess which remix service that was!!! grrrr

Never had any luck finding 12" copy of YOUR GONNA SUFFER by BERTICE READING..
Hmm - used to have that one, but as I sold my whole collection in 1995, (although I have replaced 90%), I don't know if it's in there. I'll check.
Thanks ! 8)Originally Written by marmite7
In close to 30(!!)years of looking I've yet to come across the
"Voyage Instrumental" LP...only found instrumental version of "souvenirs" on Hot's "gay classics volume 3-out loud proud" cd compilation, and it's NOT identified as the instrumental! What a find THAT was for me!!
A good friend of mine has that LP - he created an unbelievable edit of "Souvenirs" by using the original version, that instrumental version and the HOT TRACKS Mix. My favorite instrumental on that LP is "Tahiti Tahiti"Originally Written by srg
Mine is (and anyone that has seen my postings would know) "Maybe This Time" by Debbie Jacobs. I know one person that has it and he can't find it. I thought it was awesome, but it was never commercially released due to legal issues. I even spoke to Debbie Jacobs herself and she no longer has a copy of it (go figure!). I've been looking for it for almost 25 years.

I have never heard her version of that track - I have the Norma Lewis version on 12" and CDOriginally Written by swerzer
Afternoon Neil,
My mate looking into the Beartice Reading track for you.
Awww.. Thanks alot Dave - that is really appreciated !!!Originally Written by Davicillo
Mine is BB and band, posted on the disco forum, but no reply.
Track released after Simple song.Any ideas????
Well, we kinda got to hear a snippet of Debbie's Maybe This Time in that Boystown Gang dance trance medley, didn't we?
Hey Energy
No luck with Bertice 12" - sorry. I obviously never replaced it, when buying back my old stock!
I had a habit of purchasing every number one in the Record Mirror Gay Club Chart, regardless of whether I'd heard it out or not. If I remember correctly, Bertice got to number 1 for a week or two, but I never actually liked this track.
Correct........but the "real" version had better background instrumentation. The reason that it was not released was a legal battle over who had it first - obviously, Norma Lewis had better lawyers..........Originally Written by JussiK
My impossible to find record is...
Take My Love Tonight -- The Midnight Shift
I've only heard it once in a club. Musically, it's an almost note-for-note copy of Company B's "Fascinated". Ran to the record store the next day only to be informed that it had been already deleted after a pressing of just 100 or so...I've since seen it twice on eBay but always *after* the auction had ended.
Not heard that one !Originally Written by Eurodancemix
I have a 12" copy of CALIFORNIA DREAMIN by MIDNIGHT SHIFT

I heard a remix of Satellites that I thought was fantastic. It added a lot more percussion with a break but I have no idea what the mix was called so can't find it.
