Oh I LOVE Amii...both her original Eurodisco stuff, especially "Knock on Wood", and her more Italo inspired stuff, which began with "Friends" if I am not mistaken...a very classy track!!! :D
I recently dug out my copy of Amii Stewart`s 1986 LP simply called "Amii"...
It contains some very cheesy Euro -disco tracks that will have gone down a storm in those Benidorm discos !! - Many people think this album was trashy, but hey! I love it !! If you get the opportunity to buy it, and you love Italo disco music you are in for a treat ! One side is Euro - disco influenced and the other side is more Rock/pop orientated.
Stand out tracks include -:
THIS GENERATION
BREAK THESE CHAINS
LOVE AIN`T NO TOY (The single from the album)
Very rare nowadays...

A "new" Amii Stewart CD was just released, Amii Stewart -- The Greatest Hits. From what I understand it's a compilation of her two U&S albums and includes the 12" versions of "Knock On Wood" and "Light My Fire/137 Disco Heaven".

I had a Greatest Hits of hers, but copied it onto my laptop and sold it on ebay!!! :D To be honest, it wasn't great...too many fillers, and not enough killers, lol :D
