    Almighty

I would like your opinions of the Almighty cover versions - I have mixed views I love To Deserve You and On a Day Like Today which sounds very like Hazel Dean and the Britney cover Everytime but some of them are pretty poor - Jackie O - Filthy/Gorgeous

Hi Bolly, and welcome to our gang, lol...

I think that Almighty covers are pretty much a mixed bag...some are great ("Haven't You Heard" and "To Deserve You" for example) and some are dreadful ("That Don't Impress Me Much" indeed!) but generally I like them...not as good as old school Hi NRG/Italo Disco though! :)

    Thank for the welcome Phrankie!

I loved the We Love Elton by Obsession covers but the rest are hit n miss - still they do a better job than the ones i've heard on Klone label - do u know anyone else still putting out Hi Nrg tracks?

I agree...Klone stuff are generally pants, low budget productions!! As for current Hi NRG releases I suppose it depends what you class as Hi NRG...as I have said before on here, 10 to 15 years ago a lot of the dance stuff released today would be classed as Hi NRG, especially the European cover versions around...

Not a fan of this modern day HINRG - Some of the ALMIGHTY stuff is OK.
