    HINRG QUIZ NIGHT

    Im thinking of organising an "Online" HINRG quiz night - probably one night next week.. Anyone interested ??
    I will put the questions together and let you know which night... Post the questions on here and the first person to answer all correct is the winner... What do you think ?

    Sounds like a great idea!!! But maybe give a point for each fastest correct answer, otherwise it would be a bit unfair! (Just thinking completely selfishly!!! LOL!) :D

    Hope you're gonna cover all the 80's?

    That period when hi-nrg changed into italo "house" is a no no for me ;)

    My era includes all the covers released on Electricity, plus passion tracks, magatone etc :)

    Has there been a Top Ten Hi-nrg tunes thread on here? or top 20 even?


    Quite new to this forum.


    and still desperately searching for a track the DJ used to play at my local gay club, back in mid 80's.


    M - Pop Muzik mixed up with Funky Town. Obviously a DJ only 12", but grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.


    Tracked down the one which starts with Modern Talking, segueing through Lorraine McKane and finally into Maria Vidal! :)

    brought tears to me eyes when I played it, after 15 yrs or so, of never hearing it.

    Not sure if we have had a top 10/20 thread but hey - start another ! You can also submit your charts elsewhere on the site (see the index on the main page)
    You mentioned some of my favourite tracks - Lorraine McKane " Let the night take the Blame" (can listen to it for hours) and Maria Vidal " Body Rock" - what a track !! I have the original 12" release but would love to get hold of a remix version - not seen one for sale anywhere

    I thought the DISCONET Versions of both of those songs were better than the commercial 12" releases

    I bought the mix of Bodyrock when it first came out - it's a hithouse mix not disconet - cost me a fortune - HI NRG Quiz is an excellent idea!
