hi all
I m new here, i m italian and i m a disco lover from the beginning of my passion for music in general (as i born)....wait wait...in better words...it has been disco which causes the init of my passion...and then comes everytime...a sensation that all the contemporary music has something in common with the past....thanx to disco, and its ispirations and "samples"
So i ve a big question, i only wanna know the title of an ultra famous disco piece in which there is like a sample of "walt disney's fantasia" (i'm not sure but it reminds me in the disney's cartoon movie, when the devil come out from the mountain).
It's like a crescendo of violins and the general sensation is of a darker infernal armada coming out from under the land.
I' m sure u know the title, cause it so famous...i' ve heard just 2 nights ago, and i was wondering about its identity.
Maybe someone has already asked for this...so please forgive me, but i don' t know how to search in the forum topics (also bcause i don' t know the title of the song)
Best regards, and i hope to see ya soon

Hi Ritchie,
Are you referring to "Night On Disco Mountain" by David Shire which is a discofied version from the classical piece "Night On Bald Mountain" by Russian composer Modest Moussorgsky? If that's the 1 u r looking 4, it can be found on the OST from "Saturday Night Fever".
Is it the part where Mickey is doing witchcraft?
Ciao

Remicks, it's possible but I don't know if the Mike Theodore track is based on a classical piece.
Ritchie, can u give us more clues? I have Fantasia on DVD, can u tell us what exact scene you are talking about? When Mickey looses control over the buckets and the broomsticks are taking over, then they are playing the Moussorgsky piece.
BTW, Fantasia is one of my favourite Disney movies, beautifully done and a feast to watch.
