No, guess "Sugar Candy Kisses" is a bit pants really, but it DOES remind me of my youth!! :D
So this Katie Kissoon track is a cover version of Grace Jones' 'I Need A Man'; is that right? Man To Man also did a version of that didn't they? (I've got that version - very memorable for me as the male stripper Private 69 is on the cover - I slept with him once in Spain! Memories.........)
No. It was a different song than "I Need A Man" by Grace Jones. The Katie Kissoon track is called "I Need A Man In My Life." One doesn't sound anything like the other, but both were great songs.Originally Written by SandraDee
Also, remember back in the early 70's, Katie and her husband, Mac, had a bubble-gum type song out on ABC records called "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep"!

Not sure if you guys are like me but when I buy a record/LP I always like to read the sleeve notes and to see who sang backing vocals etc...During the 80s the same names seemed to appear on HINRG productions as session singers... Shirley & Dee Lewis/Tracy Ackerman/Jackie Rawe/ - Katie Kissoon has also done quite a bit of background/session work for other artists
