Me again!
So, I love Fun Fun, but didn't realise that they were actually two models who didn't sing the vocals...or so I have heard! I have also heard that Spagna of "Call Me" fame provided vocals...I know about the Spagna connection, but am confused! Can anyone help? :D
It's in the producers and writers.
Ivana Spagna aka Spagna (of Slavic desent maybe?), was part of the writing team & responsible for loads of Italo hits. Fun Fun included.
Theo Spagna Co-wrote some of her hits.
The question I have is, Were Hot Cold the same as Fun Fun as they have the same producers (Spagna included!).
Don't forget, Italian vinyl imports at that time were very short lived so many Italo hits were imported at a much heavier rate from German and Dutch labels once thay had been released in those countries.
LOL. It's Milli Vanilli and Boney M all over again.
Isn't Spagna also Yvonne Kay from "Rise Up For My Love" fame?

Possibly right Bernie, although that one passed me by!!!
Eveything was made under different names. that's why I brought up the Hot Cold question. Mmmmm!!
Is this the group that sings "Colour My Love"?
I tend to find that on many Euro/HINRG dance tracks - the people shown on the front covers were not necessarily the people singing the tracks ! - Look at BLACK BOX for instance. Ian levine would market his groups such as MOONSTONE/SEVENTH AVENUE/EASTBOUD EXPRESSWAY/CROISETTE as "groups" but in most instances the actual session singers would not be shown/credited on the sleeve...Originally Written by Davicillo
Yes you're right.Spagna was also known as Yvonne Kay. Rise Up For My Love is now regarded as a high energy classic.
Yes pepper, it's the group that released "Color My Love"...what a great track!
I love FUN FUN - Found the 12" single BAEILA BOLERO for 20p the other day - on Carerre.Originally Written by phrankie
I always loved 'Rise Up For My Love' by 'Yvonne Kay' (nee Spagna!). Much better than Spagna's later stuff. I've got the 12" on Italian X-Energy records.Originally Written by monty69

"Easy Lady" was always my favourite Spagna track... :)
Yeah - that track was far better than CALL ME - Never a big fan of Spagna....Originally Written by phrankie
You are all right, Ivana Spagna sang all songs for Hot & Cold and perform as a solo. Her famous song and the best is Easy Lady.
The vocalist of Fun Fun were Ivana Spagna and Antonella Pepe and everyone else were just models.
