Heard a song today at the Folsom Fair North here in Toronto. Female singer starts off talking about parting 24-7 chorus is "why wait for the weekend". Medium enery about 130 bpm with great breaks. Anyone have a clue who this might be and what is the title of the song.

That's not it. Michael Gray's "the weekend" is very la la and only has the one line i can't wait for the weekend to begin. The other song is on the darkish side has loads of lyrics which I can't remember because I was pretty high at the time. The woman lead starts off speaking the lyrics first before actually singing. All I remeber of the lyric is something about party every day then the chorus "why wait for the weekend to begin. Thanks for trying
