Marsha Raven "Catch Me" (Big Ben Remix)

Does anyone know if this remix was ever released in the UK? I know it was a big hit in Holland in 84 (coupled /mixed with "Earthquake" by The Flirtations) with the legend "Featuring London Big Ben" on the front cover!

I only know of it through owning a double album called "Top Hits 84" released on Arcade in The Netherlands...there was a picture of the 12" on the cover, although only the 7" version was on the album (it faded out before mixing into "Earthquake"), but I have heard the full 12" mix...whilst in manchester, funnily enough! :D

    Hi.

No. I wasn't released in the UK.
Yes, it was a Dutch High Fashion montage in the same vein as thier Italo mixes they did on 12". If I remember rightly it was put with The Flirtations 'Earthquake'.
Maybe one of our Dutch friends can tell us what's goin' on with High Fashion these days but maybe it's on a compilation from the Netherlands.

    Yeah. There were 3.

Vol 1 had a fab montage with Divine, Suzy Q, Jade, Carol Jiani,
    Lee Prentiss.

Vol 2 had the above with a little montage with Miquel Brown (So many men), Valerie Allington 'Stop' and my fave rhetta Hughes 'Angel Man'.

Vol 3 had more 'Poppy' stuff on it. Pet shop boys, Alisha etc

Wish I could get all 3 on CD!!!

Sorry I know this was sent a while back, but I think what you after is The Anglia remix Eartquake mixed into Catch me, with Big Ben. Has remix of Primitive Desire on the B side and was on High Fashion. Could be??
Anglia Vol 2 had Angie Gold mixed into Astaire with Toto Coelo on the B side.

I dug out my 12" copy of Marsha`s 1988 release THAT JEALOUS SENSATION. It is ok but certainly not up to the same standard as her earlier tracks.

There is a German ZYX 12" of "Catch Me" for sale on ebay, and it is the version that features "London Big Ben" (says so on the sleeve, which also features the "High Fashion" logo across the bottom right corner) but it isn't the same cover that I remember for "The Anglia Remix" that featured "Earthquake" by the Flirtations too...just thought you might be interested! :D

There's a copy of Catch Me on High Fashion, for sale on Gemm. No idea if it's the mix you're after, but at $78 it'd better be gold plated!!
