Does anyone remember "It's Too Late" by Simone?

I bought a Streetsounds Hi-NRG compilation cassette many years ago, which included a track by a white, blonde haired singer named Simone...it was a cover of the classic track "It's Too Late" ("It's too late baby now it's too late, though we really did try to make it", etc etc)...I think she was from the Midlands...anyone else remember it? :D

Simone's records were recorded in Stoke & Electricity Records were based in Stafford, just down the road which probably accounts for her appearing on Central television.
