Who else remembers these?

I have a deep and slightly disturbing love for Eurodisco and Italo Disco from the 80's...these are amongst my all time favourites...

Cha Cha Cha - Finzy Kontini
The Night - Valerie Dore
Visitors - Koto
Hey Hey Guy - Ken Laszlo
Tonight - Den Harrow
Fotonovela - Ivan
Happy Station - Fun Fun
Paris Latino - Bandolero
Face To Face Heart To Heart - The Twins

PLUS - anything by the Swedish goddess that IS Ankie Bagger gets a big thumbs up from me, especially "People Say It's In The Air" and "Where Were You Last Night"

Love and best wishes! :D

Hi Energy Guy!

I love all Fun Fun tracks, but Happy station is my favourite! Could actually list about 30 - 40 favourite Italo/Euro 80s tracks, but that would just be ridiculous, lol :D

Hi phrankie,
I remember all these hits. Most of these italodisco tracks especially Paris Latino by Bandolero are considered classics in Greece.I have never heard cha cha cha by Finzi Kontini. "Hey hey guy" by Ken Lazlo was/is one of my favourites
What do you think about "Evita" by Larry Paul Emmet,"rainy day"by Brando and the brilliant "a new day" by Alex Chroma Band?

Almost all the above tracks were awfully popular in Japan in 80s, too. Japanese disco-goers, including me, of course, were really fond of Hi-NRG & Italo Disco because I think we like their catchy and danceable melody (sometimes too cheesy, though). The popular tunes then included:

Rofo ''You've Got To Move It On''
Garry Law ''I Want You''
Ken Laszlo ''Tonight''
Gazebo ''I Like Chopin''
Desireless ''Voyage Voyage''
Fancy ''Slice Me Nice''
My Mine ''Hipnotic Tango''

And more!!

I bought recently a good ITALO 4-CD compilation called ''The Italo Disco Collection'' that includes Time ''Shaker Shake,'' which also caught on in those days in Japanese discos and I like very much.
