Well, maybe I got something going. I should be clear that my tag line is actually the first verse of the song.

Clue # 2: Singer is female, black, and the song is from 1991.

Yes, I did and, no, it's not. OK --- two more clues for the weekend:

1) The 12" remix was done by David Morales for Def Mix.

2) This lady has been ever present with Mtume and Luther Vandross.

I figured it out.

Funny, cause I flashed on this vocalist when you mentioned Luther--BUT the song eluded me.

I only remember "How Can I Ease The Pain"--BUT I guess I better pull this CD out again and listen.

I wish I knew. It was supposedly released in 1994 but I can't even find out the title.

Hey Nicky, I suspect you're referring to the comment on "allmusic.com". I wonder if that information is incorrect? I don't recall ever seeing another solo album by Lisa. I wonder if he's mistaken her for Ava Cherry?
