wild guess sheri kane not sure about the spelling
It's a female vocalist and the music has kind of a disco/house feel. Sounds like a newer song not an oldie.
I can find the lyrics on the net, but cannot find who the artist is.
Lyrics are as follows:
By the time you said you loved me
I had turned my back
I spent so long waiting
What kind of love is that?
So I go find a new one
I hear the things you do
So what's this bitter feeling?
When I see that girl with you
Chorus:
I want, I want, I want
And I want and I want
And I want you back
I want you back
I want you back

Thanks JOL. With that info I found it.
The actual artist is Original 3 feat. Sherry Kean. I guess she's fairly well known in the Toronto area.
Here's a link where you can hear a clip of the song.

Found this through Google:
Sherry Kean was originally known as Sherry Huffman, vocalist for The Sharks who were a steady fixture on the Toronto Queen Street bar circuit in the late 1970's/early '80s.
Your welcome. I'm from Toronto, I remember seeing her back in the day. I was watching Much Music yesterday afternoon and that video came on. That's why I tweek in so fast.
