Wondering if anyone can help identify a disco song I heard in a restaurant in NYC some years ago. I don't have very much info on the song other than it's sung by a female who sounds diva-ish and the verses (and maybe chorus?) starts with and repeats the phrase, "Picture this..." Probably late 70s or early 80s.
Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I'm almost 100% sure that it's not Debbie Harry's voice.
Sounds like a diva on the order of Loleatta Holloway...
This one is past your time frame of 70s/80s but there was a "Picture This" done by T-Diva, a/k/a TechnoDiva, early 90s. The 'diva' would be Jeanie Tracy in strong House/Disco mode on this set. I only mention it because you referenced Loleatta Holloway.
Thanks, NickNack. I'm aware of the T-Diva song, and it's not the same one. I have a feeling that the track I'm looking for might not be titled Picture This, although that phrase is used throughout. Also, now that I think about it, the vocal is more Linda Clifford than Loleatta...
Hmmm... more like Linda Clifford, eh? OK, another long shot --- try "Pictures and Memories" by Marlena Shaw. It's from her Sweet Beginnings album, 1977.
