The Ebay listing is just to offer everybody another way of ordering the soundtrack CD set. :D The latest listing is at:

During one of my frequent perusals of the music listings on eBay (you never know what you're going to find!--and no, I don't work for eBay) I just discovered that a seller going by the name "bmidney"is selling copies of the soundtrack from the "Remember" the Party: Soul Recharge event--seven discs for just $45! Jerry Bonham was the DJ for this latest in the series of "Remember" parties, held in April at the original site of the Trocadero.
You can find it buy searching in Music > CDs for "Soul Recharge" or (hopefully) by clicking on or copying and pasting this link:

I've been listening to this in the car - where I can really crank it up! - and it is fabulous! Great songs, wonderful mixing. It sounds better than it did at the Kat! Even the labels and packaging are great.
Keef: Have I understood correctly, that Mr. Bonham did some tidying up of the mixes for the CD release, so that parts of these CDs are actually not live, so to speak?
Quinny, for the release of the CDs, Jerry just filled in the parts when we had to change to a blank CD in the recorders. Other than that, everything is the same as what was recorded that evening.
Oh wait, there was one song ("Remember Me") where something went goofy and there was silence (!) for a few eternal seconds. :o You could hear the sigh of relief from several of us when the music came right back on. :P Anyway, that little pause was filled in.
keefelc,
I was just playing this great mix set and I wanted to know if you, or anyone else who has it, could post the complete tracklisting? Thanks.

and click on playlists and soundtracks
Thank you! It also didn't occur to me to just simply pop the CD into iTunes instead of my home CD and have the tracks come right up.:icon_idea:

I've been playing the cd's since I recieved them they are great!!! They sound so good and the familiar tunes sound fresh. Also my other half in Spain finally listened to all of the cds and loves them. He can't stop dancing to them....:icon_biggrin:
Sorry for not responding to you earlier, Bernie! I've been out of town on a business trip and I didn't want to lug a laptop around with me.![]()
Anyway, I'm glad The Disco Kid pointed you in the right direction to find the info!
Eman, sounds like there's dancing, dancing, all over the world to the RtP soundtracks! :icon_biggrin:
So so true....I just got a call from him and he said he was playing it in his office and the Spainiards - Local Nationals that work on base went ape over the cds and was asking where he got the cds!! He just replied and said my BF sent them to me....awwwww... Also the "straight" people in his office loved them too...guess he played them at their "Thanksgiving" office party...
Gee Eman, I wish I could play the CDs in my office, well actually cubical :icon_cry: ! And how terrific is it that his coworkers enjoyed the RtP 5 set??? It's so sweet that you sent your other half a little taste of home to tide him over until he returns to the U.S.! :icon_biggrin:
Yeah...ain't love grand...:icon_biggrin: .... Actually in my cubicle...i play them on the computer...but have to keep the volume down...or i use my MP3 player LOL...My other half has his own office so he can play them at higher level....but then when he comes back here it's back to what we all know and love and as he and I call the majority of the females where we work THE BITCHES OF HUMAN RESOURCES SOUTHWEST or THE BITCHES OF EASTWICK....LOL.:icon_lol: ..but yeah they loved the cds at his party....I also heard from him that a club that we went to in downtown Rota called Meteoro was going to start a Retro-Disco night every Saturday instead of all this new stuff they play...RTP rules...![]()
