    Robbie Leslie Saint white parties

Hi there great website!! I'm after some help in identifying a load of tracks from Robbie Leslie's White Party at Teh Saint cds for 1983/1985/1986.

Firstly has anyone managed to track list these, as that would save a lot of time! If not can you help identify a few for me from the lyrics. I have mp3'd them, just trying to work out how to upload them to my internet providers webspace as their website is a bit ambiquous!!

    Ok here's the lyrics.

    From 1983 White Party
    Slow intro female disco tune.....

Love has only just begun, my heart is gonna make up my mind
Now there's magic in the air, that comes from all the love we share
So take me in your arms, take me i am your tonight
Take me in your arms and rock me till the morning light

    From 1983 white party
Female disco track, quite a twee vocal, and a spacey sounding flute, quite trippy

Dance with x 3, come on and catch me if you can
Dance till the music's gone, we can go on forever
Dance with me till the dawn

    From 1986 White PArty
Male nrg track voice similar to Martin Fry from ABC

You got a one shot, aim it out of here
You got a big shot get into gear
You got no stop look into the ground
You got a long drop 2nd time around

    From 1986 White Party
Female nrg track quite fast great Moroder like synths

You're the kind of a guy, you're my alibi, i'm taking off to fly away
No matter what you try i love you my oh my
I'm taking off to fly away

Up Up in the sky is where i'm feeling free
Up Up in the sky it's you and me

    From 1986 white party
Italo track male vocal, starts with phone ring and girls chatting bout blind date then male vocal sings

    Chorous

My heart keeps beating, i'm sure I can't be so wrong
Your heart keeps burning why I've been waiting so long
I give you my love, all my love
    From deep down inside

If anyone can help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance
    Andy

    Hi Conor

If you go to Robbie's website www.robbieleslie.com and go to the Tape club section they're on there. Absolutely amazing sets. The 1984 White Party is spread of 18 hours!!

    Andy Farley,

Did these CD sets not come with a list of songs? Is the least you can get after paying so much for them. :o

Hi guys any more ideas on what the remaining tracks are at all? I've managed to blitz a few of them, so there's only a handful left now. Cheers :D

Thans Andy. I correspond with Robbie often, he is currently in Maine on vacation. If you send me what your still missing I will send him samples and ask him to identify them for me.

Also going nuts trying to find an MP3 of the following:

"Good Morning My Love” it was written by D.C. LaRue of “Cathedrals” fame. I believe there was another partner involved. The Harlem Boys’ Choir did the backing vocals. The song was never signed and therefore there is no label behind it. The year would be about 1983 or 1984, but that’s an approximation. If you have it or know where to find a copy please let me know

Andy found another one for you.

    84 Disk 10 Track 5

This is a Limited Edition Pressing the song is called Precious Lies and the Group is Five Sinners. There is a special thanks on the lable thanking Emil DiPrizito and Chuck Ryan and Michael Jorba, DJ and Michael Cavallone, DJ

M Records 496A Hudson Street Suite K5 NY, NY 10014

Post production Mark Melnick and Gregory Brown for Palsy Walsy Productions. I beleive the above info was from a bootleg version and the BASS was a bit light, on the bootleg repressing. There was a big fight after this bootleg came out, hope you find the original much better quality than the bootleg repressing.

    Regards, James
