You bet I am enjoying it OK!!

Do I detect Disco Spectrum 2 in there - AirPower, Aquarian Dream and Main Ingredient??

PHOENIX has been one of my absolute RAVE tracks for ages, and you're the first other person on this Board to mention it, m'thinks!! !! Those driving hi-hat rhythms are absolutely wicked!! LOVE IT!!

I have always loved that MAIN INGREDIENT track - quality soul harmonies with the wonderful voice of Cuba Gooding. Cosy nights by the fire!! Just right for your winter!!

(BTW The other rare groove track I love on that compilation is AL HUDSON and "Spread Love". I have all these trax on one of my MD compilations ...)

Another track in your list, HUDSON PEOPLE, had a really loyal following amongst us UK soul fans. I love the instrumental arrangements on that record in the last half etc of the record - it is really cookin'!!!

I love everything that the SALSOUL ORCH ever did. Great stuff

    There are three I don't know ...
KING ERRISON - WELL, HAVE A NICE DAY
    APOLLO - ASTRO DISCO 12"
    RHYTHM MAKERS - PRIME CUT

Perhaps you can tell me about them??

Anyway - What a great CD - especially Phoenix!!!

Hey Jazz. I am very familiar with "KING ERRISON - WELL, HAVE A NICE DAY." I love this song. I have the album with that song. It has a nice break that was frequently remixed. It was fairly popular in NYC and Boston around 1978-1979. By the way, give a listen to the lyrics. I think you'll like it.
    Find them and destroy them!

Thanx for the kind words Jazz.

Now, some info about this tracks (except for the percussionist King Errison - Thanx PAUL)

    - APOLLO was a band formed of Kerry Gordy (Barry Gordy's son), Chico Ross (Diana Ross brother) and some other studio musicians. They recorded just one album (1979) and "Astro Disco" was not a big hit but, I like this track a lot.

    - RHYTHM MAKERS was the previous name to "GQ". This track is an instrumental recorded about 1976. It seems to be fusion-disco-funk.

    Peace.
