Hi everybody! I was reading the messages under the topic "Worst Motown" and I thought of this idea. How about singers/groups that could give you nightmares?

Here is one: Imagine Bruce Willis, Don Johnson (from "Miami Vice"), Patrick Swayze ("Dirty Dancing" I'm not sure about the spelling,) Eddie Murphy, and Toni Basil singing "Barbie Girl." Scary, isn't it?

Ok, here is another one: Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" sung by Celine Dion, Cindy Lauper, Britney Spears, and Courtney Love (I think that is her name, isn't it. The widow of Nirvana's lead singer.)

The worst nightmare I really saw. It was the Bee Gees live a few years ago, with Barry tryin' to reach all those falsetto notes.
    It was TERRIBLE!!!

Here's a nightmare that really happened a few years ago for me. I was watching the end of some Pepsi chart or some (music for the teens) show (I don't know why) and guess what I saw, Human Nature (Australian boy band) doing a wussy lollipop cover version of Brothers Johnson's "Stomp" and they even used similar blur video effects like they used in the Brothers Johnson's clip. I HATE BOY BANDS RRRRRRRROOOAAAAARRRRRR!!!!! They totally flushed the song down the dunny with their awful Backstreet Boys/NSYNC like voices.

Also another nightmare come true was a few years earlier another Australian boy band called CDB did a cover version of Earth Wind & Fire's "Let's Groove". They had awful wussy boy band voices when they sing and the video clip sucked smelly footy socks because it looked very boring. Earth Wind & Fire's version is by far the best and the video clip is fantastic.

Another nightmare which came true is Cake doing a cover version of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" and instead it was a bloke singing it with a really awful deep voice and in the video clip he was driving a weird looking one man truck. I reckon the "I Will Survive" haters will hate this version more than Gloria Gaynor's.

Anyhow here's some nightmares that haven't came true yet but if they do I'll choke:

Lee Kernigan singing "Oh My Darlin'"

Michael Bolten singing Gary Moore's "Still Got The Blues For You"

Aqua's Aquarium singing Anita Ward's "Ring My Bell"

Prince having cream on his bare body and some girl licking it off while he sings "Cream" YUCK!!!!!

Any man singing Minnie Riperton's "Loving You". I swear everytime I heard a bloke singing that song they sounded awful especially when Cruel Sea sung it, the bloke from Cruel Sea sounded like Scooby Doo when singing "Loving You". And on South Park when some blonde haired bloke was trying to hit the high notes ARRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!

Chris Jericho from WWE wrestling singing "Just A Gigolo" while wearing an Uncle Sam outfit and big black sunglasses.

Eminem singing Sugarhill Gang's "Rapper's Delight".

Eminem and Vanilla Ice teaming up and singing "Ice Ice Baby".

Slipknot doing a death metal version of Love & Kisses "I Found Love".

    And there's more to come.
Australia mate! The land of many great funkateers!

Oh, and I dedicate this project to Fantomas.

    Additonal Info:

Puff Daddy/P. Diddy ("He Invented The Remix", you know) produces poorly (how else, you ask?)
& Danny Tegaglia Remixes the 13 minute Tribal Version. (Several teens & 14 dogs in the vicinity go deaf (1 blinded also) when this version is spun at a RAVE in Elizabeth, New Jersey. (Home of Fantomas & pollution, in that order).

The U.S. government bans the record. Then stockpiles all the copies for use in torturing Al Queda prisoners of war. Osama surrenders the next day.

Denyse LePage is given the Congressional medal Of Honor and promises NEVER to record again. ODB is given all the Crack he can smoke and immunity from prosecution. P. Diddy is given a sitcom on UPN costarring Robin Givens. And Danny Teneglia is allowed to destroy as many records as he wants by remixing all melody, lyrics, & hooks out of the record, til there's NOTHING but that TRIBAL BEAT.

OK, that's the end of my flight of fantasy.

Oh, wait: This thread is about MUSICAL nightmares. And none of that is what I consider music.
