After Spirit in The Sky!?

Hi,
I'm a DJ, but I always have a hard time to keep the ppl on the floor after the song spirit in the sky.

could anyone help me out, tell me 2 or 3 songs to play after to to keep them on the floor?

Spirit In The Sky by Norman Greenbaum I assume?

It clocks in at about 120 BPM, so in theory there must be hundreds of records that could follow it. It must therefore be down to reading the audience and there, I can't really help you, but if it's an older fun loving lot, try maybe something like:
Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye - Bananarama (another rabble rousing sing-a-long track)
Allright Now - Free (pop/rock, more or less same era as SITS)
Searching - Change (Disco @ 6 BPM faster but similar feel)

When I worked I always used the the Dr & the Medics version. With this, you can keep things on an 80's tip. At this point in the evening i never 'mixed' the tracks, just played them back to back. I usually followed S.I.T.S with the Tourists ' I only want to be with you', the Proclaimers 'I'm gonna be (500 miles)
and the Jam 'A town called malice'.
