Ah Mr Wilson, whilst looking through an old Record Mirror the other day (again!) I came across a pic of you with the 2 guys from Swing Out Sister publicising the 'Streetsounds Electro' series in 1984. I didn't know S.O.S. were part of the electro movement! You'd never know it listening to their stuff would you? :-?

    Hi SandraDee: Strange but true!

Martin Jackson had been the drummer with Magazine, whilst Andy Connell was the keyboard player with A Certain Ratio.

We collaborated on what became 'UK Electro' (pretty much making it up as we went along). When we went our seperate ways they went on to form Swing Out Sister.

I was surprised. I can see the guy from A Certain Ratio getting into electro ( I love 'Shack up'. A big indie/dance hit down 'ere!) but someone from Magazine. Well, well.
