The only other "Baby Love" I can remember, besides the Supremes of course, is by Regina (on Atlantic). But her version doesn't have "Shake It..." in the title.
I just finished listening to Ferrara's "Shake It Baby Love" and it is NOT the song I remebered when I first saw it's title.
Usually, when I see a title it triggers a memory of how the chorus sounded. When I saw this title, I got such a flashback.
"Shake-it-baaa-bee-love" is what I remembered.
Anyone remember a song like this--slower than the Ferrara? Or am I guilty of "false memory syndrome"?
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."

Could you be thinking of "Sugar Baby Love"?
If not, then it could be false memory syndrome or dementia.
Or too many drinks at the Gold Coast.
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Could be BABY LOVE SWEET SWEET LOVE by Wilton Place Street Band, an excellent, overlooked, lushly orchestrated girl chorus track by the "Disco Lucy" crew.
